How to Get the Best from your Coffee

Pacific Foods is very active in the coffee community. They sponsored an e-book on hand brewing coffee, developed by a world champion barista, Pete Licata. I did the design and illustrations, working with a writer (Chris Ryan). I loved working with these guys and this is one of my favorite projects in recent memory.
We had 8 weeks. By the time we were finished, I had done about 50 illustrations, plus charts showing data from Pete’s experiments.
I did the drawings digitally, from sketches to final—I finally became good friends with my tablet.
They would hand off chapters as they were done. Once we had it all together, we went through several lightning rounds of tweaks and edits.
